Spokane Catholic Diocese Bankruptcy Payments to Victims
After more than five years of battling the Diocese of Spokane, approximately 90 of our clients will soon be receiving payments from the $48 million dollar settlement we negotiated in March of this year. Kate Pflaumer, the court appointed tort Claim Reviewer has interviewed the approximately 130 claimants over the past six months and is in the process of making her awards determinations. She will be notifying claimants of their awardsby letter in mid-October. Payments are expected to issue in early to mid November. We will be contacting clients with further information and instructions detailing the mechanics of transmitting the funds to them in the next couple of weeks.
